Countries We Work With

PIVI partners with low- and middle-income countries to assess and build capacity for influenza vaccine programs, tailoring each partnership to every country reach its goals. Working with countries’ Ministries of Health, as well as with other technical collaborators, including the WHO, WHO Regional Offices and UNICEF, PIVI supports evidence-based vaccine policy decision making, and the creation and implementation of a multiyear plan. Partnerships can include provision of vaccine doses and supplies, as well as technical support for program evaluation and planning, working together toward the goal of developing a sustainable influenza vaccination program in each country.

Since 2013, PIVI has provided more than 5.1 million doses of flu vaccine, and/or technical assistance – working in partnership with Ministries of Health to partner countries.
