Radhika is an Epidemiologist in US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s Influenza Division, where she provides technical assistance on global projects related to influenza vaccine implementation, vaccine effectiveness, and research/surveillance. She first joined CDC in 2018 as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer focusing on waterborne diseases after previously serving as a policy fellow in the US Senate, focussing on legislative issues related to healthcare and public health. Radhika holds both a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis as well as a Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
The Advisory Group group is made up of leaders from the public and private sectors representing global public health, vaccines, immunization programs, and biosecurity. This group supports PIVI leadership, providing guidance on strategic objectives and input on critical program decisions; the group also roots PIVI’s work in best practices to ensure that PIVI complements other pandemic preparedness and flu program creation, implementation, and strengthening.
