In 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) renewed its partnership with The Task Force for Global Health to help develop sustainable seasonal influenza vaccine programs in low- and middle-income countries, through PIVI. The CDC’s funds provide for program operations and technical assistance.
Since its founding, PIVI has also developed strong connections with various vaccine suppliers including Seqirus, Hualan Bio and Green Cross to provide vaccine through donation and/or at a substantially reduced cost.
PIVI is actively seeking funding and developing partnerships in order to grow the program and support the needs of partner countries through providing flu vaccine and other areas of technical assistance and support.
