“PIVI – Making the World Safer,” Through the Lens of Cote d’Ivoire

Ongoing seasonal influenza vaccination programs play a critical role in keeping people protected from illness while enhancing pandemic preparedness. By creating vaccination systems for influenza, countries strengthen their health systems and bolster their capacity to respond swiftly and effectively to future pandemics and emerging health threats. As we commemorate World Immunization Week (April 24-30), it’s also important to recognize the positive impact that stable vaccine systems have on global health security. The Partnership for International Vaccine Initiatives (PIVI), a program of The Task Force for Global Health, is dedicated to building robust respiratory vaccination programs worldwide. Through strategic partnerships, capacity building, and advocacy efforts, PIVI works to provide equitable access to influenza vaccines and while protecting against future pandemics. Learn more about how our work protects the health and well-being of people around the world.
