Arthur Reingold, MD, is Professor of Epidemiology and Head of the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health. He has spent the last 4 decades, studying the prevention and control of diverse infectious diseases in the US and in countries around the world, including, vaccine-preventable diseases, such as influenza. He has served on WHO’s Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on vaccines and on the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the US CDC and HHS.
