Dorothy Ochieng serves as a project manager at PIVI, and has been with The Task Force since September 2020. In this role, she supports multiple subawards and projects in various countries. These projects support a range of activities such as vaccine introduction, preparedness, and campaigns, demand and communication, workforce development, and data management. Prior to joining PIVI, Dorothy served as a project manager at The Task Force’s Neglected Tropical Diseases Support Center. Prior to joining The Task Force, Dorothy managed the day-to-day operations of a water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), and menstrual hygiene management (MHM) organization in Tanzania. She oversaw the planning, implementation, and evaluation of their programs. Prior to this, Dorothy served as a registered nurse in various hospital settings, including orthopedics, medical oncology, surgical gynecologic oncology, and home health.
Dorothy holds a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Global Health from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University.
