Jack retired from the Walgreen company after a 35-year career that included senior-level positions in many areas of the company’s pharmacy and healthcare businesses. His work included retail and mail service pharmacies, specialty, homecare, and infusion divisions. Having led Walgreen’s response to H1N1 response in 2009, he also developed and expanded retail clinical services to include immunizations. Jack helped found PIVI through his work with the CDC, which began with a Walgreen’s donation of flu vaccines to Laos in 2012. He is currently president of JPC5 Consulting and serves as an Executive Board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
