Paul Schindler

Project Officer

 Paul Schindler is a Project Officer with the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases/Influenza Division, supporting the Global Influenza Branch’s Program Support Unit and the Task Force for Global Health.  Previously, Mr. Schindler was the Project Officer for CDC’s cross-CIO World Health Organization’s Health Emergencies’ award from 2018 through 2023. 

Paul also assisted management/operations support of multiple CDC Country Offices including prior in country support to CDC offices in Tanzania, Sierra Leone and India,  meeting with WHO partners in Country and providing various budget planning and execution support for CDC’s in Country portfolios.  Additional work focus includes emergency operations management financial support for prior Ebola, Zika, Monkeypox outbreaks and the COVID funding provided through the International Task force response.   Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degrees in Anthropology from Georgia State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Mercer University.
